  • Beaches, of course! Mission Beach, Coronado, Torrey Pines, and many more! This is, after all, San Diego.
  • Don’t have a pool in your backyard? No problem! Check out the Mission Beach Plunge. Need something closer to you? The City of San Diego has pools all over the county. Find the one closest to you.
  • Water parks are fun for the whole family, and San Diego’s four separate water parks mean four times the fun. Check out Legoland Water Park, The Wave Water Park, and Knottā€™s Soak City Water Park and Sea World’s Aquatica.
  • And in May San Diego’s new Waterfront Park opened for business, complete with a 40 wide and 830 foot long splash fountain. Or take the kids to splash around one of San Diego’s other four water fountains
  • Wintertime in July? Why not! San Diego has two year-round ice rinks. One at University Town Center in University City and one in the heart of San Diego, in Rolando, at Kroc Ice Center.
  • Did you know there are dozens of free cool zones located all over the county? There sure are! You could explore San Diego one cool spot at a time.
  • And don’t forget your local malls and movie theaters! Shop, watch, relax. Couldn’t be easier.
